HY-011 is a custom lidding-film roll for PS yogurt connected-cup multi-packs, including eight-cup formats. It is developed around the real cup flange, multi-pack layout, yogurt product, printed artwork and filling-line requirements.

A multi-pack requires more than a generic cup lid. The film needs to suit the connected-cup web, lid repeat, print registration and intended consumer opening experience.

Match the Film to the Connected-Cup Format

Eight-cup and other connected-cup yogurt packs can differ in cup pitch, flange layout, bridge areas, rim geometry and separation requirements.

Please provide:

• Actual PS connected-cup sample and layout drawing
• Number of cups per pack, cup diameter, pitch and bridge layout
• Cup material, flange width and sealing area
• Yogurt type, filling conditions and chilled-storage requirements
• Sealing-machine type and target line speed
• Existing lidding-film sample, if available

Define Opening and Pack-Separation Requirements

Confirm whether consumers should peel or tear each lid, separate the cups before opening, keep remaining cups connected, or use a tab or tear feature.

Easy tear and easy peel are different opening behaviours. Validate the required opening and cup-separation action on finished chilled multi-packs.

Match Roll Format and Artwork to Your Line

Confirm the following before production:

• Cup quantity, cup pitch, bridge areas and repeat length
• Approved artwork, colours, code area and print direction
• Film width, roll diameter, core size and unwind direction
• Sealer type, registration requirements and target speed
• Secondary packing, chilled storage and distribution requirements

Validate the Multi-Pack System

Test the selected HY-011 film on the actual connected-cup pack. Review seal consistency on every cup, repeat accuracy, print registration, pack appearance, cup separation, lid opening and transport performance.

Record the cup-set version, film version, artwork revision and machine settings for each trial.
